The Use of Technology in Your Practice

Social media, cloud computing, smartphones, metadata… These are just some of the technologies being used by lawyers and their clients. In this presentation, presenters discussed lawyers’ duty to safeguard their clients’ confidences and the threats associated with today’s technologies, as well as, practical tips for using these technologies in your practice. The discussion also addressed recent ethics opinions and changes to the ABA Model Rules regarding technology.
